014 Strive to Use Your Gifts

Ephesians 4:5-16  God has given gifts for the work of the ministry. If the church is going to be united and powerful we need to seek to use our gifts for the building and edifying of the body.

Paul pleads with us to walk a walk that is worthy of our calling. What are we called to do? We care called to so all we can to preserve unity in the church. Ephesians 4:1-7

Paul tells us to let Christ dwell in our hearts by faith. It is when the love of Christ dwells in our hearts that we are able to understand His power that can do great things in our lives. Ephesians 3:14-21

Provoked by the persecuted church

Christians and Afghanistan are fearing for their lives. Yet we are afraid to witness when we are not facing any persecution. God had a message to the church in Smyrna that should provoke us to live for Jesus and appreciate our freedoms while we still have them.

Ephesians 2:10 states that we are God's masterpiece. He is the one that is working in our lives so that we can live up to the potential that He has already ordained that we should walk in.
