Psalm 90 was written by Moses when he was traveling through the wilderness for 40 years. Moses lived in a difficult time of wandering, yet he kept his eyes on God and was able to grow through God's grace. Great advice for us as we continue to live in this time of uncertainty.

What is the hope of Christmas. It is the hope that we can be free. It is the freedom to never say again that nobody cares.

Jesus came to reconcile our relationship to God by dying on the cross for our sins. He offers us forgiveness, even though we don't deserve it. Forgiveness is possible and it is personal.

Mathew 1:18 states that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. This is a miracle. To deny miracles is to deny the existence of God and the power to transform a life.

Mathew 1:1-17  We often skip the genealogy when we read the Bible. But they contain if you will the resume of Jesus. It also demonstrates to us who he is and how he identifies with us. Jesus did not come to the elite, he came to the poor, to the ordinary, to the 99.

Ray served in N.Y. city, Malt and now Ethiopia. Ray has a love for the work in Ethiopia and missions.

Pastor Ion Hrezdac encourages us to use the time and freedoms we have to preach the gospel. Pastor Ion tells us what it was like evangelizing during communism and how God's had we real to them. 

 

002 Mission Month: Proclaim Him to the Nations

2 Samuel 7 is David's prayer of thanksgiving to God for all he had done for him. At the heart of his prayer is a desire for the nations to know God. The mission of the church is the same, to make Christ known.
