008 Put on your helmet

Ephesians 6:16-17 What protects our minds? The helmet of salvation. Satan wants us to doubt His word and His purpose in our lives. Therefore we need to put on our helmet. 

006 Put on your shoes

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Ephesians 6:15 
and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. Ephesians 6:15  What does it mean to have our gospel shoes on. It means that we have the peace of the gospel and we are  not afraid of the war that we are in. Pastor mentions four kinds of peace we have because of the gospel.

007 Take up your shield

'above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. ' Ephesians 6:16 The fiery darts of the wicked are being aimed at every believer. We by faith deflect these arrows. Pastor mentions six arrows that Satan shot at David and how he overcame them. 

004 The breastplate of righteousness

Ephesians 6:13-14 - Our heart is protected when we are right with God. We become right because we receive His righteousness and we continue to be right with God when we walk in His way. 

004 The Belt of Truth

Ephesians 6:14 The first piece of the armor is the belt of truth. It is the piece of the armor that holds everything else together. 

003 We do not fight against people

Ephesians 6:12 Tells us that the real war is against evil spiritual forces. We cannot with the fight in the flesh, we must walk in the spirit. 

002 The Schemes of the Devil

Ephesians 6:12 - We have to know the plans or the wiles of the devil. His methods have never changed, he wants to destroy our lives and he lies to do it. 

Stand in the Power of His Might

We can stand because we have God's power and we have God's plan. 

Work for the Lord

Ephesians 6:5-9 instructs us about work. Work is part of our worship and we can be better workers when we understand that we work for God and that we are paid by God. 

Be the Dad

Ephesians 6:4 When speaking about raising children, Paul addresses the dads. He tells them not to frustrate their kids and to raise the up in the nurture and discipline of the Lord.
